2.1 Product overview
PNS/PNB/PND series pneumatic torque wrench is a hand-held rotary electric tool with a reaction arm, which can precisely set the torque (accuracy is ±5%), and is used to complete the locking/dismounting of nuts or bolts; drive Part of it adopts German original high-precision air motor; the air source treatment part adopts imported high-precision pressure regulating valve; the mechanical part adopts planetary gear reduction mechanism.

2.4 Operation of the wrench

2.4.1 Precautions for operation
2.4.1.1Reversing valve position: Please pay attention to the position of the reversing valve
before operation, so as to grasp the direction of pulling force during operation.
2.4.1.2Air pressure guarantee: Please ensure that the maximum air pressure of the compressed air entering the wrench does not exceed 0.6MPa (that is, the pressure of the air source processor does not exceed 0.6MPa). Otherwise, it will lead to failure of the transmission system, inaccurate output torque, or even damage to the wrench.
2.4.1.3Connection Guarantee: Ensure that all hoses and other connections are securely installed; Do not use damaged, worn or aged air hoses and other connections; It is recommended to install an emergency shut-off valve on the air supply line and inform others of the exact location .
2.4.1.4Lubrication guarantee: Before the equipment is running, please check whether there is enough lubricating oil in the oil cup of the air source processor. Insufficient or non-existent lubrication increases the wear rate of the air motor, resulting in reduced tool performance and increased maintenance. Too much or too little lubricant in the compressed air can affect tool life and performance. It is recommended to drip 4-5 drops of lubricating oil per minute.
2.4.1.5Stable operation: the body posture should be balanced and stable, and the range should not be too large when operating tools; during opening and operation, please prevent and pay attention to sudden changes in torque and force
2.4.1.5 Note The machine is a torque tool with a reaction arm. The enormous torque generated by the machine is absorbed by the reaction arm. Therefore, it is necessary to find a supporting point with sufficient strength for the reaction arm during operation. For the sake of safety, when the machine is working, any part of the human body must be far away from the working range of the reaction arm, otherwise, it will inevitably cause huge personal injury.
2.4.1.6 Warning Before tightening the torque of PNB series bent handle pneumatic torque wrench, the brake mechanism must be locked, otherwise the large torque generated by the gear box part of the wrench will directly act on the operator, which may/inevitably cause personal injury to the operator in varying degrees or property damage.
2.4.2 Operating instructions
2.4.2.1 Open the tool box, connect all parts firmly, and pay attention to the direction of air intake.
2.4.2.2 To determine the required tightening torque value, check the torque/pressure table provided with the wrench for the required pressure.
Notice For two-speed wrenches, make sure the gear you look up in the chart matches the actual shifter!
2.4.2.3 Adjust the air source pressure to the desired pressure value according to the following method, lift the pressure regulating knob, turn the pressure/torque clockwise to increase, and turn counterclockwise to decrease the pressure/torque. Press the switch lightly to adjust to the required pressure. After the adjustment is completed, press the pressure adjustment knob to fix it. When adjusting the pressure, there will be a small amount of leakage, which is normal.
2.4.2.4Select the wrench rotation direction through the reversing button, press the left button wrench to rotate clockwise; press the right button wrench to rotate counterclockwise.
2.4.2.5Fix the wrench on the bolt/nut to be removed, press the switch type pneumatic wrench until the wrench stops, and pull out the wrench after the operation is completed.
2.4.2.6Selection of mechanical gear: When low torque is required, it is recommended to select the 2 gear with higher speed to improve work efficiency; when high torque is required or the nut is removed, it is recommended to select the 1 gear with high torque.
2.4.2.7 Filling method of oil cup:
a:When the machine needs to add lubricating oil and the air source cannot be turned off, you can directly use the Allen wrench to remove the oil supply screw next to the oil volume adjustment knob. There is a backstop device inside the air source processor. When the oil supply is removed, when the screw is tightened, the air outlet will automatically cut off the air supply, and it can be used directly with oil.
b:After confirming that the air source and the pressure in the pipe are exhausted, directly rotate the oil supply cup counterclockwise by hand and pull it down, remove the oil supply cup, and add lubricating oil.
2.4.2.8Air source processor: The air source processor must be placed vertically, otherwise it may cause abnormal drainage. Do not adjust the pressure above 0.7MPa, otherwise it will damage the pressure gauge and other components and damage the machine.
2.4.2.9Oil supply from the oil cup: Be sure to use special oil for the combination, which complies with the ISOVG32 standard. It is recommended to use PULITOOL original pipeline lubricating oil. Lubricating oil with too high viscosity will cause poor oil filling or even no oil supply.

2.4.3 Maintenance
2.4.3.1The main body of the wrench and the air inlet must be kept clean to prevent impurities from entering the air motor with the compressed air and affecting the life of the motor.
2.4.3.2Regular replacement of lubricating grease is very important. In order to ensure the maximum performance of the tool without failure, it is recommended to maintain the gearbox and transmission system every year and replace it with new lubricating grease. It is recommended to use a grease with a penetration grade of 265-295, a viscosity grade of 2, and molybdenum disulfide, such as Mobil XHP500. High-quality grease extends tool life.
2.4.3.3Seriously maintain the machine, regularly check whether the components on the machine are in normal operation, whether the fasteners are loose, and judge whether there are broken or damaged parts. Faulty parts will affect the normal operation of the machine, and the damaged parts must be replaced or repaired before using the machine. If the maintenance work of the machine is not thorough, it may lead to accidents on the job.
2.4.3.4Before installing, removing or adjusting any parts on the tool, or repairing the equipment and its parts, the air source must be turned off, the air pressure should be released, the air pipe should be disconnected, and the intake valve should be loosened.
2.4.3.5Please send the machine to qualified professionals for maintenance. Only original parts can be replaced during maintenance to ensure the safety performance and precision of the machine.
2.4.3.6Select a suitable air supply line to ensure the maximum working pressure of the tool at the tool inlet.
2.4.3.7Drain condensate from piping, air filter, and compressor tank low points daily.
2.4.3.8Regularly clean or replace the filter element in the air source processor to prevent clogging from affecting air flow and machine performance.
2.4.3.9When changing the rotation direction of the machine, be sure to wait for the machine to stop completely before proceeding to the next step.
